We have got many enquiry e-mails from the experienced kayakers asking for “Light Touring Kayak” (sit-inside kayak). We are now also able to provide for requested kayak in our kayaking self-paddle programs upon your requirement or even for kayaking rent.

“Light Touring Kayaks” are suitable for protected coastal and inland waters.
These designs are intended for relaxed fun paddling on placid rivers, lakes and sheltered coastal areas.

They are optimized to be as user friendly as possible. The most obvious difference is that they are shorter than other types of touring kayak, making them easier to handle both on and off the water. Other features are large cockpits for easy entry and exit, strong stern profiles to boost tracking and cross-sections shaped to maximize initial stability. As with the kayaks in the touring category, the backrests are higher and more supportive than in the sea kayak range, providing increased comfort over long periods of time in the more relaxed, fun and far less demanding environment of light touring.

Our provided kayak is extremely stable, forgiving and has a good turn of speed for a kayak at this length. Its predictable and easy going feel will give hours of gentle touring around inshore coastal areas and on inland waters, perfect for those people who are totally new to kayaking or wish to just simply explore the recreational environment at their ease. Front and rear watertight hatches also give the ability to carry all the equipment required for slightly more adventurous trip and picnics, or just that fantastic piece of driftwood you spot! The elastic deck net keeps sun screen, glasses, snacks and a refreshing drink close at hand too.
