* Phuket Day Trip Scuba Diving

There are many excellent and unique scuba diving sites around Phuket, Thailand and it is hard to select which one is the best. The only solution for you would be to try them all because they all have something different to offer. For those learning scuba diving we have Racha Yai Island which offers ideal conditions for beginners. For those with more experience as a scuba diver, the King Cruiser Wreck, Shark Point, Anemone Reef, Kohl Doc Mai and famous Phi Phi Islands offer exciting choices.

Our boat is the perfect boat for scuba diving daytrips. A spacious dive deck and platform with two large ladders makes for safe and convenient entries and exists from the water. The large saloon is where we conduct our dive briefings and serve your fresh cooked buffet lunch. The top deck is large and comfortable providing plenty of sun or shade, as you prefer.

Price includes:

Dive Site Descriptions
RACHA YAI

Dives on the East Coast are subject to minimal current, have clear water, and support a good variety of marine life. Dives on the West Coast consist mostly of granite rocks, sparse coral growth, invertebrates, and a good variety of reef fish. All levels of divers can dive at Racha Yai Island.

Distance: 14 NM S of Chalong Bay
Boat Trip: 70 min.
Depth: 6-24 metres
Visibility: good to excellent
Currents: light to moderate
Surface Conditions: calm
Experience level: low

SHARK POINT
SharkShark Point (Hin Musang) is a pinnacle and is classified as a Marine Sanctuary. This reef is home to an incredible profusion of sea creatures with soft and hard corals, pelagic fish, and Leopard Sharks, hence the name.
The density and diversity of marine life here is comparative to the best coral reefs anywhere in the world. This dive site is for intermediate to experienced divers only. It is one of the best day trip dive destinations on offer!

Distance: 16 NM East of Chalong Bay
Boat Trip: 80 min.
Depth: 6-24 metres
Visibility: fair to excellent
Currents: moderate
Surface Conditions: can be rough

ANEMONE REEF
Anemone ReefAnemone Reef is a collection of Rocky Plateaux (similar to a pinnacle) and, as you might guess, the top part of the reef is smothered with sea anemones. There are many resident clown fish, shrimps and porcelain crabs.
Elsewhere on the reef you will find large clusters of soft corals and enormous seafans. At its deepest point, a solitary rock is home to a group of moray eels. This dive site is for intermediate to experienced divers only.

Distance: 16 NM East of Chalong Bay
Boat Trip: 80 min.
Depth: 6-24 metres

KING CRUISER WRECK
King Cruise WreckThe 70 meter steel-hulled King Cruiser passenger ferry sunk during May of 1997 by hitting Anemone Reef on the way to Phi Phi Island. This huge catamaran now rests within the Shark Point Marine Sanctuary in about 30 meters of water on a sandy bottom.
Divers can penetrate into and swim through most of the wreck if they have the appropriate training, otherwise you must be content to circumnavigate this magnificent man-made reef, which is now attracting a huge amount of marine life. This dive is for experienced divers only.

Distance: 18 NM East of Chalong Bay
Boat Trip: 90 min.
Depth: 12-30 metres
Visibility: fair to good
Currents: moderate/strong
Surface Conditions: can be rough
